About Targinnie
Targinnie is a coastal locality in the Gladstone Region of Queensland, named after the Targinia pastoral run established in 1863. The area has a history of gold mining dating from 1901 and fruit growing, and is separated from the Coral Sea by Curtis Island. An Old Believer's Church, built in 1995 by migrants from China, is a notable landmark.
