About Mount Larcom

Mount Larcom is a rural town and locality about 32 kilometres west-north-west of Gladstone, dominated by the 632-metre mountain named by Matthew Flinders in 1802 after Captain Thomas Larcom. The mountain offers 360-degree views from the summit including Gladstone harbour and reef islands, and the town has hosted an annual agricultural show for over 100 years. The Bruce Highway and North Coast railway line pass through.
