About Lammermoor

Lammermoor is a coastal locality on the Capricorn Coast in the Livingstone Shire of Queensland, located six kilometres south-east of Yeppoon and 46 kilometres north-east of Rockhampton. Overlooking Keppel Bay, the suburb features the long sandy Lammermoor Beach with Statue Rock and Statue Bay at its southern end. Situated on the traditional lands of the Darumbal peoples, Lammermoor is a growing community driven by the mining boom, with many residents commuting to Rockhampton. Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, opened in 1958, serves the area.
