About Gladstone Central
Gladstone Central is the central business district and historic heart of the port city of Gladstone in Central Queensland, and the seat of the Gladstone Regional Council. Its main commercial street, Goondoon Street, runs over a hill overlooking the harbour. The suburb holds the city's post office, opened in 1854, and one of Queensland's oldest state primary schools, established in 1861.
