About Bajool

Bajool is a small rural town and locality in the Rockhampton Region, Queensland, 36 kilometres south-south-east of Rockhampton on the Bruce Highway. The name is Aboriginal for a nearby lagoon. Bajool is known for its explosives reserve, operational since 1913, and a Cheetham Salt solar salt field on the Fitzroy River delta.
