About Eubenangee

Eubenangee is a coastal locality split between the Cairns Region and the Cassowary Coast Region, about 65 kilometres south of Cairns near Innisfail. The area is best known for Eubenangee Swamp National Park, a 2,473-hectare protected wetland that is home to over 200 bird species and represents the last remaining high-rainfall swamp forest on nutrient-rich basaltic soils. Sugarcane farming dominates the developed land.
