About Bamboo Creek
Bamboo Creek is a small rural locality in the Shire of Ashburton in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, situated approximately 1,200 kilometres north of Perth in the remote Pilbara interior. The area is characterised by pastoral leases, iron ore mining and remnant spinifex grassland and mulga woodland on the flat to gently undulating red sandy soils. Bamboo Creek lies within the broader Pilbara landscape of rugged mountain ranges, seasonal waterways and the arid interior of Western Australia.
