About Brookfield (Qld)
Brookfield is a rural residential suburb in the City of Brisbane, located about 13 kilometres west of the CBD. Originally a timber-felling and dairying area settled in the 1860s, it is now characterised by large acreage properties and luxury homes, with Moggill Creek flowing through and D'Aguilar National Park to the north. The state school has been in continuous operation since 1871.
