About Ngukurr
Ngukurr, formerly the Roper River Mission, is a remote Aboriginal community on the banks of the Roper River in southern Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. The community is home to various clans and language groups, with Kriol being the predominant language, and its Aboriginal residents collectively refer to themselves as Yugul Mangi.
