About Edith (NT)
Edith is a vast remote locality in the Katherine-Daly region of the Northern Territory. Named after the Edith River, the area is home to Leliyn (Edith Falls) within Nitmiluk National Park, a series of cascading waterfalls and tiered swimming pools on Jawoyn traditional land. The locality is known for barramundi fishing and serves as a gateway to the park, with Katherine about 60 kilometres to the south.
