About Fly Creek

Fly Creek is an outer rural locality in the Litchfield municipality of the Northern Territory, on the fringe of Darwin. The locality takes its name from the local watercourse, which was named by surveyor William Harvey, a member of George Goyder's survey parties, who came across the creek and was bothered by the flies in the vicinity.
