About Cobbitty
Cobbitty is a semi-rural town in the Macarthur Region near Camden, south-west of Sydney. The district was settled from 1812, when Gregory Blaxland received a grant he called Cubbady Farm. Cobbitty is known for its early church buildings, including the Heber Chapel of 1828 and St Paul's Anglican Church, designed by John Verge and completed in 1842, and the area retains turf farms and orchards.
