About Colebee

Colebee is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, situated 47 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD in the City of Blacktown. The suburb is named after C. Colebee, believed to be the first Indigenous Australian granted land in the Blacktown area at Plumpton Ridge, and son of the Darug elder Yarramundi. The heritage-listed Colebee and Nurragingy Land Grant on Richmond Road marks this early land ownership. The Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club is a notable local feature, and the suburb is bordered by Schofields, Marsden Park, and Quakers Hill.
