About Vineyard

Vineyard is a semi-rural suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, located about 50 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district. It lies within the local government area of the City of Hawkesbury, with part of the suburb extending into the City of Blacktown. The suburb takes its name from the winegrowing district established in the 19th century by French immigrant John Paul Ouvrier.
