About St Georges Basin
St Georges Basin is a coastal town in the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, located 25 kilometres south of Nowra and 200 kilometres south of Sydney. Situated on the shores of the St Georges Basin waterbody, the town is a popular fishing and boating destination. Actor Steve Dodd was a prominent resident. The suburb is part of the broader South Coast region alongside Huskisson, Vincentia and Kiama.
