About Worrowing Heights
Worrowing Heights is a semi-rural locality in the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, about 26 kilometres south of Nowra in the hinterland west of Vincentia, on the edge of the Jervis Bay area. Its name comes from an Aboriginal word meaning 'small creek'. The historic Wool Road, built in 1841 to carry wool from Braidwood to Jervis Bay, passes through the locality.
