About Dirnaseer

Dirnaseer is a locality in the north-east Riverina of New South Wales, about 42 kilometres south-east of Temora and 50 kilometres west of Cootamundra. The name comes from a sheep run worked from 1906 until 1919, when it was sold to the State Government for subdivision into soldier-settler blocks after the First World War. Dirnaseer Hall, opened in 1924, served the returning soldiers' community.
