Meerschaum Vale is a small rural town in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, about 15 kilometres south-east of Ballina. The low-lying agricultural land near the Richmond River floodplains supports sugarcane farming and grazing amid a subtropical landscape of native bushland.
