About Ghinni Ghi
Ghinni Ghi is a rural locality and village in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, in the Kyogle Council area, about 27 km west of Kyogle. The district, traditionally the country of the Gullibul, Githabul, Wahlubal and Bundjalung peoples, is given over to grazing and farming on alluvial flats and rolling hills. Iron Pot Creek flows through the locality, and the Toonumbar Dam, built on the creek in 1971 to supply irrigation water to the Richmond Valley, lies within its boundaries.
