About Dungarubba

Dungarubba is a small rural locality in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, in the City of Lismore about 12 km east of Coraki, among sub-tropical farming and hinterland country. The name, sometimes spelled Dingarubba, is thought to come from a Bundjalung word meaning flat, swampy country or the paperbark tree that grows there, and the district's public hall was opened in 1912.
