About Hexham (NSW)
Hexham is a low-lying industrial and rural suburb of Newcastle, about 15 kilometres north-west of the Newcastle CBD on the bank of the Hunter River. The suburb is an important transport hub where the Pacific Highway and Hunter Expressway cross the river, and has a history dating to the 1820s.
