About Brightwaters
Brightwaters sits on a peninsula east of Morisset on the western shore of Lake Macquarie, the largest coastal saltwater lake in Australia. Established in 1859, early industries included tinned fish and a sugar cane mill, and the suburb is now a popular residential and holiday area.
