About Bolton Point
Bolton Point is a residential suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, located on a peninsula extending southwards into western Lake Macquarie, 24 kilometres west-southwest of Newcastle and 4 kilometres east-northeast of Toronto. The suburb is surrounded by Lake Macquarie on three sides giving it extensive waterfront access to Australia's largest permanent saltwater lake. The peninsula location provides a predominantly residential character with water-based recreation opportunities. Bolton Point is in the state electorate of Lake Macquarie and the federal Division of Hunter.
