About Warialda
Warialda is a town on the North West Slopes of New South Wales, in Gwydir Shire, on the banks of Warialda Creek. Settled around 1837 and gazetted in 1847, it was the first government town in the region. The Gwydir Highway passes through the town, which hosts an annual Honey Festival.
