About Balfours Peak

Balfours Peak is a rural locality in the Gwydir Shire on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, about 55 kilometres by road from Inverell. The locality is named after the prominent hill within its boundaries, and other named features include Foxs Hill, Gragin Peak, Middle Creek, Mosquito Creek and Ottley Creek. The landscape consists of rolling hills, broad-acre farms and grazing land on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range.
