About Koreelah

Koreelah is a remote rural locality near the Queensland border in northern New South Wales, about 30 kilometres west of Woodenbong in a rugged landscape of mountains and native forest. It is best known as the home of Koreelah National Park, which protects part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, a UNESCO World Heritage listed ecosystem offering walking trails, camping, swimming and birdwatching. Tenterfield, the main service centre of the shire, lies roughly 90 kilometres to the south.
