About Keepit
Keepit is a locality on the Namoi River in the North West Slopes region of New South Wales, named after the 'Keypit' property. Keepit Dam, built on the Namoi River between 1939 and 1960, is the area's dominant feature. Its reservoir, Lake Keepit, supplies water for irrigation and supports recreation.
