About Goonoo Goonoo

Goonoo Goonoo is a rural locality near Tamworth in the New England region of New South Wales. The name is Gamilaraay for running water, and in 1841 the Australian Agricultural Company established a major sheep station here that at its peak was shearing 200,000 sheep annually. The property has since been transformed into luxury accommodation.
