About Georges Creek (NSW)

Georges Creek is a rural locality on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, about 15 km southeast of Armidale. It takes its name from the perennial creek running through the district into the Macleay River catchment, a designated trout-fishing water that descends the Great Escarpment near Cunnawarra National Park. The locality adjoins the forested Georges Creek Nature Reserve, linked with the nearby Cunnawarra and Oxley Wild Rivers national parks.
