Bassendean is a small rural locality on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, near Llangothlin on the New England Highway about 10 kilometres north of Guyra, between Armidale and Glen Innes. It lies in sparsely populated high country of rolling farmland and woodland within the Armidale Regional Council area.
