About Abington (NSW)

Abington is a locality in the New England region of New South Wales, about 45 kilometres north-west of Armidale and 20 kilometres south-east of Bundarra on the western slopes of the New England tablelands. The area was first occupied by Europeans in 1836 as the Abington pastoral station, used for sheep and cattle grazing.
