About Dinoga
Dinoga is a remote rural locality in the Gwydir Shire of the New England region, about 60 kilometres south-west of Inverell on the northern tablelands. The broad valley and rolling terrain at an elevation of around 379 metres supports open pastoral and dryland cropping country, with beef cattle, sheep and broadacre grain farming the dominant activities. The area is characterised by dry grass, hardy scrub and eucalyptus woodland typical of the tablelands and plains stretching westward from Inverell toward the Namoi Valley.
