About Cottonvale (NSW)
Cottonvale is a small rural locality in the Tenterfield district of far northern New South Wales, lying on the state border with Queensland near Dalveen, just east of the Queensland locality of the same name. It is a sparsely settled farming district at around 900 metres elevation, drained by Maryland Creek and its tributaries.
