About The Summit
The Summit is a rural town and locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, on the border with New South Wales. It is named after the railway station on the Southern line, the highest point on the line between Warwick and Wallangarra. The locality is predominantly farmland, with a small settlement around the station on the New England Highway, about 10 km north of Stanthorpe.
