About Backwater
Backwater is a rural locality on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, about 12 kilometres north of Guyra in the New England region, within the Armidale Regional Council area. It is a high-altitude grazing district of basalt soils used for sheep and cattle, known for its cold winters with frequent frosts and occasional snow.
