About Womboota

Womboota is a locality in the central-southern Riverina of New South Wales, in the Murray River Council area, about 26 km north of Moama. The settlement was once served by the now-closed Balranald branch of the Deniliquin railway line, and its post office operated from 1899 until 1979. Womboota retains a School of Arts hall and two historic church buildings.
