About Oaklands
Oaklands is a town in the Riverina district of southern New South Wales, about 105 kilometres north-west of Albury. It is a major grain-handling centre for the surrounding wheat and rice country, served by a railway branch line opened in 1912, and is the only place where the threatened Oaklands Diuris orchid is found.
