Mallan is a locality in the Murray region of New South Wales, in the Murray River Council on the Wakool River. The Coonamit Bridge, listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register, carries the Swan Hill Road across the Wakool River and links Mallan with neighbouring Dilpurra. The district is broad-acre farming and grazing country.
