About Hopefield
Hopefield is a rural community in the Riverina of southern New South Wales, about 12 km south-west of Balldale and 12 km north-east of Corowa, in the Federation Council area. The settlement grew around the Corowa branch railway line, with a station operating from 1892 until 1975, and had a post office from 1882 to 1954 and a hotel built in 1915.
