About Stroud

Stroud is a small historic country town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located one hour north of Newcastle on the Bucketts Way. Established in the 1820s as the headquarters of the Australian Agricultural Company, it features heritage buildings including Stroud House and St John's Church. The surrounding area supports cattle grazing and mixed farming in the Karuah River valley.
