About Rawdon Island
Rawdon Island is a riverside locality formed by two islands set in the Hastings River about 15 minutes west of Port Macquarie. Named after Francis Rawdon Hastings, the first Marquis of Hastings, it was once a thriving dairy community with 27 farms and now offers quiet riverfront acreage properties. The surrounding waterways support fishing and boating.
