About Frederickton
Frederickton is a town on the Macleay River in New South Wales, Australia, located approximately six kilometres north-east of Kempsey. Named after Frederick Chapman, who subdivided his property in 1856, the town was a former shipbuilding and timber centre. It was the site of the renowned Maczola cheese factory and lies near the Macleay Valley Bridge.
