About Berrico
Berrico is a rural locality in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, located about 30 kilometres northwest of Taree and 208 kilometres from Sydney in the Mid-Coast local government area. Rolling hills and dense forests at an elevation of about 179 metres characterise the landscape, with the Berrico Nature Reserve covering 910 hectares created in 1999 adjoining the locality and sitting in proximity to Barrington Tops National Park. The landscape supports primary production and forestry.
