About Upper Karuah River
Upper Karuah River is a rural locality on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, along the headwaters of the Karuah River, which rises on the south-eastern slopes of the Gloucester Tops in Barrington Tops National Park. The upper valley is narrow, bounded by steep ridges, and the river flows 101 kilometres to Port Stephens at Karuah.
