About Werri Beach
Werri Beach is a coastal town in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, immediately north of Gerringong and south of Kiama, on the coast of the Tasman Sea east of the Princes Highway. The name comes from Ouiree or Ooaree, the Dharawal word for the creek that enters the beach at its northern end.
