About Saddleback Mountain
Saddleback Mountain is a rural locality in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, on the escarpment about 6 kilometres south-west of Kiama. It is named after the distinctive mountain behind the town, whose summit lookout offers panoramic views from Cronulla in the north to Milton in the south, and it is noted for its historic dry-stone walls built by early settler Thomas Newing.
