About Kembla Grange
Kembla Grange is a suburb west of Berkeley in the City of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. Named after Mount Kembla, from an Aboriginal word meaning "wild game hunting", the area was originally dairy farming country in the 1840s. It is home to the Kembla Grange Racecourse, opened in 1976, and was formerly the site of a speedway from 1962 to 1983.
