About Coalcliff

Coalcliff is a coastal town in the City of Wollongong, New South Wales, situated between Sydney and Wollongong at the base of the Illawarra escarpment. Founded in 1797 when shipwreck survivors discovered coal seams here, the town is now known for its patrolled beach and the start of the Sea Cliff Bridge.
