About Upper Allyn
Upper Allyn is a locality in the Allyn River valley in the Hunter region of New South Wales, near Dungog. The area is the traditional country of the Gringai people. A former sawmill workers' village, it became a company title village in 1978. The surrounding landscape features forest-lined pools and diverse natural environments, with access to the Barrington Tops area.
