About Gloucester Tops
Gloucester Tops is a sparsely settled locality in the Mid-Coast council area of New South Wales, on high forested country at the eastern edge of the Barrington Tops plateau west of Gloucester. It covers the Gloucester Tops precinct of Barrington Tops National Park, part of the Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage Area, where Antarctic beech forest, tree ferns and mossy cascades line pure mountain streams. Walking tracks from the Gloucester Falls picnic area, reached by an unsealed road from the Bucketts Way, explore the falls and pools of this forested plateau.
